Eliot, Sheffield's hitmaker to the stars, will be performing his own greatest hits and has invited other pals to join him, including Bryan Adams and the cast of TV musical drama Britannia High.
Tickets are already in short supply for the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and Cavendish Cancer Care fundraiser at Sheffield City Hall, on Wednesday, December 17.
News that comedy genius Kay is now definitely coming is expected to sell the show out this week.Today Eliot remained tight-lipped about his pal's planned performance.
But he told The Star: "Peter Kay is promoting Geraldine and he is going to make a special appearance."I don't want to give the game away too much on that one, but fans will know to expect a lot of fun.
"Let's just say they can get ready for a real Christmas party night.
"Bryan Adams, who is a long time writing partner of mine, is also hoping to be there. I spoke to him last night and it's looking good.
"We've got Kenny Thomas, the cast of Britannia High and other surprise guests. It's going to be a fantastic night."
Eliot will be performing many of the hits he's written for some of the biggest names in pop – such as Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Boyzone, SClub7, Blue and Billy Piper.
He penned the Spice Girls' number one Say You'll Be There and co-wrote Everything Changes, for Take That.
Promoter Dennis Hobson's budding pop singer daughter Jessica, aged 17, and BBC Radio Sheffield sports presenter Seth Bennett and his band will also take part. So will Eliot's beautiful film, stage and TV actress/singer wife, Natalie Mendoza, who most recently starred in TV drama Hotel Babylon. She sung in movie musical Moulin Rouge and on stage in Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Cats and Sweet Charity.
The charity concert will also be a warm up for Eliot's first ever national tour next year, with plans to feature different special guests at each show, including the stars of his many hit recordings.
