Door damage after arson
ARSONISTS started a fire which badly damaged the garage of a house in Balby, Doncaster, early today.
They placed an old mattress next to the front of the structure in Earlesmere Avenue and set it alight around 1am.
Flames spread to the doors and caused extensive damage before the alarm was raised and police woke the young woman in the house.
Doncaster and Edlington firefighters extinguished the flames before all of the building was affected. There was no vehicle inside.
