Decorating students busy practising on college walls
DONCASTER College's Hub campus is to get spruced up for the summer with bright colours, artwork and moving images projected onto the walls.
Students on the college's painting and decorating NVQ level two course have already begun to give the building a lick of paint.
Student and staff artwork will also be displayed at the three main entry points to the 65 million campus and projectors will display notices and moving images on some of The Hub's white walls.
More work will also be displayed in cabinets in the main atrium.
Lecturer Neil Preskey said: "The students who carried out this re-decoration work are all apprentices employed by local companies in their first year of their NVQ programme.
"They all took an active part in this project and are looking forward to sprucing up more of the college when they return on their next block release."
College principal Rowland Foote said: "The Hub is a fantastic building but at the moment it's quite dull.
"It needs to become a place where people are wowed by what they see and be enthused to learn. This project will go a long way to seeing that happen."
