College caters for Polish

TWO courses at Doncaster College have been translated into Polish to help migrant workers build on their skills.

The organisation has translated its level two food hygiene and health and safety courses into Polish - the first time the college has translated an original course into another language.

Marian Beecroft, head of the college's Business Enterprise and Systems Training, said: "It is estimated there are between 9,000 and 12,000 Polish people living in Doncaster.

"We have a duty to offer services which the local population demands. Hopefully these courses are the first of many we will be able to translate into different languages."
