Caterers set to serve up spectacular performance

A GROUP of Doncaster College caterers are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity by taking part in this year's Race For Life.

Eight caterers from the High Melton campus' on-site restaurant have nicknamed themselves 'The Fountayne Follies' and are in training for Doncaster's Race For Life at Town Fields on Sunday June 22 at 10.30am.

Sheila Morling, Michelle Lovell, Tina Cryer, Gemma Middleton, Michelle O'Connor, Beverley Henshaw, Jill Harrison and Sharon Gough will take part in the event, in aid of Cancer Research UK, for the first time.

They will run the three-mile event in memory of friends and family who have been touched by the disease.

High Melton catering manager Sheila Morling said: "It is our first charity event as a team and we hope that the college, staff, and students will support us in raising as much money as we can."

To donate contact Sheila: 01302 553772.
