It’s a small world - even when it stretches all the way to Brazil.

Sheffielder Jethro Soutar is compiling a charity book of football writing from Latin America, and launching a crowdfunding campaign to fund it.

Authors and translators have agreed to waive their usual fees to allow more profit to be donated to The Bottletop Foundation, an HIV awareness and contraception charity working in Brazil.

Now Jethro needs help from potential sponsors.

“At a basic level, if 350 people pre-purchase the book at £10 a time, we’ll be able to go to print,” said 36-year-old fromer King Edward VII pupil Jethro who now lives in Lisbon, Portugal.
