Michele Walsh, a business confidence coach working with Sheffield women in business, gives us her best and worst beauty buys:
HIT: Nude ProGenius facial oil, £58 at www.nudeskincare.com
This gorgeous facial oil full of delightful aromas is my favourite must-have beauty product. It leaves my skin radiant and glowing. It’s fabulous under make up or as a treatment oil in the evening. It’s not cheap but it lasts up to four months.
MISS: Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint, £21, John Lewis
I thought this was very disappointing, especially for £21. My skin is normally quite dry and I don’t have a problem with make-up staying put, but this felt as if it was sliding off my skin. Not a good buy for me.
Sure Maximum Protection deodorant, £5.10, Morrisons
In the heatwave, my regular anti-perspirant wasn’t lasting the day. Sure’s latest claims to be twice as strong and regular versions by other brands. You apply it at night before bed. It’s in a twist-up stick, the clean Fresh Scent formula is creamy, smells like baby lotion and is gentle on skin but totally reliable. A summer life-saver!
