MISS: Soap & Glory Glow Lotion £5.50, Boots

I bought this at Christmas hoping it might give my winter white skin a sexy glow, but I was very disappointed. Soap and Glory products are well known for having a distinctive smell but it was so over-whelming it gave me a headache. My other gripe? The glow disappeared after five minutes. I may as well have just used a regular moisturiser. Very disappointing.

HIT: Tigi S Factor Serious Conditioner, £9.95, Hairtrade.com

I have quite dry hair and I bought this product at the end of last summer. It is one of the best conditioners I have ever used. My hair looks in amazing condition after using it. Even though it is a serious hair conditioner I’ve found I can use it quite regularly so long as I don’t keep it on the hair for too long.

JO RECOMMENDS:

Argan+ Super Creamy Body Wash, £4.95, Waitrose

I don’t need a body moisturiser after showering with this rich, ultra gentle cream. It barely foams, but it cleans without stripping the skin, thanks to the omega oils and fatty acids in the argan oil, plus added shea butter and hydrating kukui seed oil and baobab oil. A low price for a product containing such lush ingredients.
