Balloon art and airport courses on offer

BALLOON art and airport operations are among more than 50 part-time courses that will be running from Doncaster College sites, starting just weeks after the New Year.

Other subject areas include accountancy, administration, airport operations, art and design, childcare, counselling, door supervisory, electrical installation, English as a foreign language, English for speakers of other languages, floristry, hospitality and catering, languages, marketing, multimedia, music and sign language, and travel and tourism.

Lessons are taught across the borough at sites including The Hub, High Melton, Robin Hood Airport, Stainforth, Doncaster Deaf School and others.

A Doncaster College spokesman said: "We recognise that people may look to learn something new in the new year – perhaps as a new year's resolution – so we have many courses starting in January. We have lots of courses on offer at The Hub and other sites in the community.

"Some of the courses may also be available for free, depending on what level of course you have studied before. Fees for courses may also be reduced depending on eligibility, too."

Further details on all the part-time courses, start dates, venues and costs are listed in the college's part-time prospectus – Courses For All Seasons – which can be obtained from the college's learner services department at The Hub.
