Activities at nature reserve

YORKSHIRE Wildlife Trust is holding a weekend of walks and activities at a Doncaster nature reserve which will focus on spotting a bittern - one of Britain's most elusive birds.

Bittern are usually hidden among the reed beds of Potteric Carr but because of the recent snow they have been spotted more than usual.

There will be fun craft activities and games during the session tomorrow.

There will be a 1 charge to take part in craft activities on Sunday. Normal admission charges apply if you are not a member of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
