COMMUNITY groups and tenants and residents’ associations wanting to know more about how Facebook can help them are invited to a free training session.
It has been organised by the Rotherham Federation of Tenants and Residents and will be held at the My Place Centre, off St Anns roundabout, on Thursday, November 29, between 2pm and 4pm.
During the two-hour workshop, groups will be taught how to create their own Facebook pages and how to promote events and activities and encourage and discussion between members.
Steve Ruffle, federation development manager, said “Some of our TARAs in Rotherham have thriving Facebook pages, using them to communicate with residents in their communities and with partners outside.”
