Lions, tigers and a newly arrived polar bear are sure to make for a fang-tastic trip to the zoo for animal-loving families this half-term, Halloween and beyond.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is laying on a selection of spook-tacular treats during half term, as well as firework displays and the chance to see some of the world’s rarest animals.

The award-winning park at Branton near Doncaster is putting on its Trick Or Treat Wall from October 27 to November 2 between 11am to 4pm.

There are also spectacular bangless firework displays at 6pm on October 30 and 31 and November 1.

Of course, despite all the Halloween fun, Victor the polar bear - who is the only one in the country - is still likely to be the centre of attention.

But a host of leopards, lemurs, giraffes, meerkats, camels, zebras and many more are all likely to wow visitors. To find out more, go to Yorkshire Wildlife Park
