The cream of Sheffield’s amateur artists will be showcasing their work for a community exhibition.
Community leaders in Sharrow are preparing for a new exhibition, which takes place at the Old Junior School on Friday, November 22.
This year The Old School, in South View Road, has teamed up with Abundance, a volunteer-run project which helps communities harvest unwanted and unpicked seasonal fruit.
Artists and other creative souls have produced pieces based on the theme of abundance, harvest and environment.
Organisers are still accepting submissions for the event, which takes place from 7.30pm.
Works will be up for sale on the night, with a portion of the proceeds being split between the Sharrow Lantern Carnival fund and Abundance.
Luisa Golob, organiser of the Abundance exhibition, said: “We are opening our doors for a community exhibition to showcase and promote all the incredible talent we have in our community.
“Come and join us.”
