Twinkle-toed dancers from Sheffield staggered home with a hefty haul of 114 trophies and medals from one competition.
The pupils of the Lisa J Wood School of Dancing, based in Barnsley, took part in a weekend event at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
They were competing with dancers from across the UK, and up against one dance school flying in from Portugal to take part.
As part of the UKA Premier Medallist competition the dancers competed in a range of categories including freestyle, rock and roll, slow dance, classical sequence, modern sequence, ballroom and Latin.
The pupils, who range in ages from just three to 60-plus, danced alongside more than 3,000 competitors altogether.
Dance school head Lisa Wood said: “My pupils were a credit to the school and to Barnsley, presenting themselves in a professional manner.
“Despite a very long and extremely tiring two days the school came away with 114 trophies – all well deserved.”
Lisa, who is based at Birdwell and set up her school 27 years ago, said she was delighted with the success of her pupils.
“We had boys, girls, men and women of all ages involved in the competition,” she said.
“There are around 150 pupils in my school and we travel to events all over the country as well as to local competitions too.
“To win 114 medals, many of them first places, is a fabulous achievement – they all worked very hard for them.”
Lisa added: “I am a member of five different dance organisations so there are always lots of events and competitions for us to take part in.
“We welcome people of all ages and abilities and from all walks of life.”
