Singing star Frankie Bridge is heading for Sheffield – to show off her dancing skills.
Fresh from an appearance at Sheffield City Hall with her band The Saturdays, the 25-year-old is among the first celebrities to be confirmed as taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
The tour arrives at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena, in Attercliffe, on Tuesday, January 27, with shows at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Frankie said: “My Strictly journey has only just begun and I’m loving every moment.
“I’m really excited to be a part of the 2015 tour.
“It will be a bit strange performing in arenas without my band mates.
“However, I can’t wait to see all the Strictly fans who have supported me throughout the TV series and get my dancing shoes on again.”
Also confirmed for the tour is former Scotland international rugby union player Thom Evans.
The 29-year-old said: “I’m excited to be invited to perform on the Strictly tour and can’t wait to get back on the dance floor.
“I’m told performing in the arenas is completely different to the TV studio, so this will be a chance to really let loose and have some fun out there.”
