JEWELLERY makers, artists and fashion designers from Sheffield have set up shop in a new home.

A dozen independent retailers are now trading Tuesday to Sunday in the new Indie Arcade at the Nichols Building, Shalesmoor.

Lord Mayor of Sheffield Coun John Campbell was VIP guest at the opening.

Rosie Butcher, who sells eco-bags, baby accessories and crockery at her store Vinyl Design, said: “The Indie Arcade is a fantastic opportunity for me to kickstart my business and have my own premises alongside like-minded entrepreneurs.”

Louise Anderson, owner of the Nichols Building, said: “We are thrilled to be home to such an eclectic mix of independent retailers.”
