IS your man sporting a charity ‘tache?

If so, chances are he’s cultivating a hairy trucker.

The Movember appeal, to raise money for men’s health charities, is growing in momentum.

The mos are growing too - and Movember supporters Debenhams is convinced you can pinpoint where a man is from by the shape of their Mo.

Spokesperson for Debenhams and ‘Mo grower’ Ed Watson says: “In some cases you can’t choose the moustache, rather it chooses you. But for the majority of men there does seem to be a strong regional preference.”

In Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester the ‘trucker tash’ is favoured; upper lip locks are grown to a full moustache which then plummets straight down either side of the mouth and frames the chin.

Head down south to London and the majority of men sport the ‘Rock Star’, a full but neat moustache with enough at the ends for a slight flick – as seen on David Beckham, Jude Law and Orlando Bloom.

Go east and you’ll see ‘the wisp’ - a thin moustache, sometime supported by a small section of hair just under the middle of the bottom lip.

Take a trip to the West to Wales and you will find an ‘undercover brother’ in all its glory. The most low maintenance Mo, hair completely covers the area above the top lip.

Male staff at Debenhams 170 branches and head office are all growing mos and anyone who signs up to the campaign gets a free tea and coffee whenever they visit Debenhams cafes throughout November plus 15 per cent off menswear brand Red Herring on November 23.
