A NEW art exhibition is to be launched at Chatsworth next week
Large-scale sculptures, drawings and paintings by William Turnbull are to be exhibited in the house and gardens of the Derbyshire estate between Sunday and Sunday, June 30.
The exhibition is the first major retrospective of Turnbull’s work since his death last year.
He was a major figure in post-war British art, with his work exhibited worldwide.
This exhibition is curated by Clare Lilley of Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
An exhibition of watercolours by Emma Tennant – the sister of the Duke of Devonshire – will be exhibited at Chatsworth between Sunday, March 24, and June 30.
