How about a Christmas makeover?

Have your say

’Tis the season to be... stressed out and exhausted as you juggle job, family and Christmas shopping.

Working women have to do it all, with jingle bells on, in the build-up to the festivities. But The Star hopes to bring a little comfort, peace and joy to the lives of three hard-working girls – a pampering party makeover at Debenhams.

Our trio will be kitted out with a glamorous new outfit worth £150 each with the expert help of the personal shoppers at Debenhams on The Moor, the free styling service which takes the stress and guesswork out of fashion shopping.

Our winners also get a beauty session with Estee Lauder, Clarins and Benefit, have lunch and get to show off their new image in a shoot for The Star’s women’s pages.

We’d love to hear from women who will be working hard in the build-up to the festive season. They could be hotel waitresses preparing to serve hundreds of Christmas dinners, nurses, police or ambulance workers facing shifts over Christmas, or even post service ladies anticipating a deluge of Christmas cards to deliver.

To enter, tell us why the three of you deserve a lift. Send your letter to starfeatures@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk or to Jo Davison, The Star, York Street, Sheffield S1 1PU.

Please include daytime contact numbers, a photograph of you all (if emailing add a jpeg attachment and type Party Makeover in notes field) and state you are available from 10am on November 29.

Deadline for entries is November 22. Usual Sheffield Newspapers competition rules apply. For copies, contact SNL Promotions Manager, The Star, York Street, Sheffield. Editor’s decision is final. No cash alternatives.
