Bosses at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena are celebrating a record-breaking Disney display. The Attercliffe venue has hosted 270 different Disney On Ice performances since it opened in 1991 – but this year’s Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic has broken the production’s box office record at the arena, with more than 60,000 spectators across the 11-show run. Rob O’Shea, arena general manager, said: “Disney On Ice is a staple to our calendar and year after year people just keep coming back for more, proving families just can’t get enough Disney magic. We are proud to host such an amazing show.”
