It was party time in Parson Cross when hot dancers strutted their funky stuff to some very cool sounds.

Chaucer Public Square throbbed to the sounds of salsa and tango at the Dance On event. Colourful costumes were the order of the day as the area went dance crazy.

UK dance champion Bill Newby set the standard when he danced a showcase tango.

Then The Dance Co and Amigos de la Rueda gave a stunning performance of lindy hop and salsa. A group of local dancers enjoyed a spot of line dancing as well as some urban street dancing.

International guests included the A Mind Apart Theatre Company who demonstrated Brazilian capoeira dance. Belly dancing came courtesy of the Belrobics girls. And to cap things off there were performances by students from dance schools Hype Dance Co and the City Limits Dancentre as well as guest dance groups from around the city, including So Damn Kreative.
