Youngsters have helped to create a comic book about the history of their Sheffield community.
Students from Yewlands Technology College were commissioned to create the comic about Grenoside’s past as part of the Grenoside Reading Room Restoration project, paid for by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Manga comic book artist Kate Holden also helped students create an anthology of mini-comics in response to what they had seen and heard.
Copies of the anthology are available through Sheffield Libraries and from the Grenoside Reading Room on School Lane.
An exhibition of artwork created by youngsters was also on show.
