More than 200 industry guests will visit Sheffield's newest cinema to hear from the people behind the development.

Founding partners of The Light Cinemas chain Keith Pullinger and John Sullivan will talk about the future of their firm alongside David Hancock of the European Digital Cinema Forum on Wednesday.

The Light opened its eighth and biggest cinema on The Moor last month, and the firm has plans for 20 more developments over the next four years.

Mr Pullinger said: “This is a great time for The Light Cinemas as we celebrate the opening of our new build Sheffield location.

"We are on a massive expansion programme and believe we are leading the way in cinema format and experience. Sheffield is the template that our future cinemas will be modelled on.

“This event is an opportunity to share our plans and debate the concept of future retail and leisure development. We are delighted that David Hancock can join us to share his insights and look forward to some robust and challenging debates from our audience.

"We are aiming to provide a relaxed and enjoyable event that gives a forum for guests to network and maybe do business.”
