Spring Showcase, Chatsworth

Six Sheffield-based artists are taking part in this exhibition at the stately home.

They are all exhibiting work as part of a group called Peak District Artisans (PDA).

The group is showcasing the works of an eclectic line-up of artists, artisans and designer-makers from across the region.

Works from 36 members of PDA will be displayed in the beautiful setting of the Carriage House in the stables.

This is the second time the group has collectively exhibited at Chatsworth.

PDA’s recently appointed chair, Ingrid Karlsson-Kemp, said: “It’s fantastic to be invited back to this stunning venue.

“This marks the beginning of our annual exhibition programme and we are looking forward to showcasing the breadth of talent PDA has to offer.”

Sheffield members exhibiting include artists Tim Rose, Steve Elliott, Maggie and Brian Robinson, Sarah Sharpe and Jill Ray.

Ingrid’s display will include pieces created for her exhibition as part Umea, Sweden’s Capital of Culture celebrations.

All the works on show are for sale.

The exhibition, which runs daily from 10.30am to 3.30pm, will open today and will run to March 22. Admission is free.

Established in 1991, Peak District Artisans is an association of some of the best professional fine artists, designer makers and contemporary artisans based in and around the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District in England.
