Inking about what to do next weekend?

The Sheffield Tattoo Show will see body art enthusiasts flock to the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham.

More than 100 tattoo artists from all over Europe will attend the annual event to showcase their skills.

And this year, to coincide with the release of the new Star Wars film, the force will be with ticket holders.

Fans can look forward to Stormtroopers, Jabba the Hut and Chewbacca attending the show and a Star Wars tattoo competition will also be held.

Artists will battle out in competitions over the weekend and there will be a live tattoo duel. Ticket holders can also enter their own body art.

Experts from the area will include Deke Foster from Follow Your Dreams Tattoo and Jess Perry of Septum Collium in Sheffield.

Other entertainment on offer will be a magician and live music as well a live body suspension.

Organiser Mike Laws said: “There seems to be a lot more of a buzz this year, maybe it is the Star War theme. The event will give people the opportunity to show off their tattoos and their skills.”

The show will take place on Saturday November 14 and Sunday November 15 between 11am and 7pm and each day will finish with an award ceremony.

Tickets are available online or on the door.
