An arresting picture of the University of Sheffield’s Arts Tower has won a top photographic prize.
The atmospheric photograph of the tower in the mist has triumphed in the urban view category in this year’s Landscape Photographer of the Year awards.
It is among a number of winning entries that will be exhibited on the recently-built mezzanine level at Britain’s busiest railway station, London Waterloo, from the start of December.
The photograph will also feature in the Landscape Photographer of the Year awards book.
The top £10,000 prize at the awards was won by Mark Littlejohn, from Penrith, Cumbria.
His image showed a small stream created by heavy rain among the vast Glencoe mountains.
