ARTIST Paul Staveley has been helping a Rotherham hospice with a mural.
Paul, aged 51, from Beighton, Sheffield, became involved with Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice as his friend Steve Knight’s daughter Emma, who died in 2008, spent her final days at the North Anston hospice.
The mural is outside the hospice’s Forget-Me-Not suite, which enables families to stay with loved ones after their death for as long as is needed until they are ready to say their final goodbyes.
The mural carries lyrics from Take That song Rule the World: ‘You light the skies up above me, A star so bright you blind me’ .
Paul said: “It’s a privilege to be able to do this.”
