Cricket’s best for city

Have your say

CRICKET legends from around the world are coming to Sheffield to play a charity game in aid of St Luke’s Hospice.

Lashings CC, a team made up from ex test players including Gordon Greenidge, Graeme Hick, Henry Olonga, Chris Cairns and Curtly Ambrose, will turn out at Abbeydale Sports Club on August 30.

They will take on Crab Sports and Social Club, a team set up in memory of local cricketer Tom Collins, who died two years ago from cancer.

Players will also be attending a pre-game three-course corporate lunch with tables for 10 available for £700. Each table will have a Lashings player present.

Entry to watch the game costs £5 for adults and £2.50 children.

Call Tom Barney on 07735 592199 for lunch reservations.
