Star of BBC One’s Live at the Apollo and Michael Mcintyre’s Comedy Roadshow, comedian Tom Stade is coming to Doncaster this weekend.
The Canadian star, who now lives in Edinburgh, will be appearing at the Doncaster Dome on Friday November 7 as part of his nationwide tour, Decisions, Decisions.
Tom, who last performed in Doncaster in 2013, said: “I love the Dome. It’s feeling a little bit like home now.
“It’s such a fun little room. You get to talk to everyone while you’re on stage so it gets really fun.”
The show will see him ponder timeless questions and reflect upon life’s choices and decisions.
“It’s all about wandering whether there is there such a thing as a bad decision and how I don’t think there is.
“Some of the worst decisions I made ended up being the best nights of my life.
“Somebody said to me that life is made up of choices, which got me thinking.
“Life is choice but your life is the decisions made from those choices. That became the catalyst of the show,” said Tom.
“I found that when I started going on about my decisions, that some people have made the same ones. They don’t see you in the joke any more, they see themselves. To me that’s the best kind of joke.
“I always get people coming up to me after the show, telling me how they relate to my stories and sharing stories of their own.
“That’s what I want out of people. When you’re on stage, you’re the comedian and they’re the audience, but once it’s done you’re all just people.”
The show will begin at the Doncaster Dome, Bawtry Road, DN4 7PD, at 7.30pm
