Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton is looks like a dainty little princess who wouldn’t be out of place in Hollyoaks. But she’s one tough woman and an incredible role model for girls. Put down the lipgloss and the straighteners; get out and discover the world and what you’re capable of, she’s telling the next female generation.
And I bet she can make an advent decoration out of three wire coat-hangers and a sheaf of tinsel, too. One hand behind her back.
