Local charities will benefit when hundreds of classic cars and bikes turn up at Ashover Show Ground, near Chesterfield, for an all-day rally, which could raise thousands of pounds.

The event will be from 10am until 4pm next Sunday, July 28, and will feature classic cars, bikes and scooters from all eras.

Organised jointly for the third year running by the Rotary Clubs of Chesterfield, Chesterfield Scarsdale, Clay Cross and Matlock, the charities to benefit will be First Taste, Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline, Hope Springs Recovery Centre, McMillan Nurses, Samaritans, Weston Park Cancer Charity, and other Rotary charities.

There will be attractions for all the family, refreshment stands and a licensed bar.
