Choir on song for a busy year

Have your say

SOUTH Yorkshire singers from amateur choir BeVox will raise the roof of the Lowedges Festival in Sheffield on August 12.

The performance will be the latest in BeVox’s busy calendar of choral events, which has included singing at Hillsborough Park in June for the Olympic Torch Relay, and flash mob performances at Sheffield Chamber of Commerce’s Annual President’s Dinner and at Meadowhall earlier this month.

The choir is running a Summer Singing Retreat this year, with guest sessions from celebrity vocal coach and judge David Grant, at Stubton Hall in Newark in August.

And on December 8 a BeVox at Buxton with Brass concert will raise funds for the Air Ambulance.
