Nice and cheesy does it – a night dedicated to all things fromage kicks off in Sheffield this month.
The four-weekly cheese tasting and discussion evenings kick off at Fitzwilliam And West bar in the West One complex, Fitzwilliam Street, on Thursday, January 23, at 7pm.
A similar Homage2Fromage night has already been a success in Leeds where it has run for 18 months.
Now Sheffielders will get the chance to try out different Cheddars, Stiltons, Bries and more, along with breads, chutneys and crackers.
Guest experts will be on hand to discuss the samples.
Nick Copland, the organiser, said: “This is about celebrating and exploring the wonderful world of cheese.
“Homage2Fromage is Yorkshire born and bred and so it seems only right we kick off our Sheffield cheese club with a selection from our own glorious county. Variety is what makes Yorkshire cheese so unique – there is a fantastic range of flavours and tastes, textures and types.
“We are making a selection of local heroes we love, and presenting them in the unique Homage2Fromage way.”
