Will new Crucible survive downturn?

IN THESE precarious times of financial uncertainty, closures and mergers, I wonder how the Crucible Theatre will fare when it re-opens in autumn 2009? What will be the new top ticket price? Will it in fact survive? Indeed, many established theatres may endure future non-closure struggles. After all, it's a luxury which many may have to forego!
The current inflation rate for basics is hitting us all. Where will it all end? As a fixed income pensioner of 86, and ardent theatre-goer, I sincerely hope the Sheffield arts scene survives!
