NOW that the Lib-Dems are due to take control, the position over Graves Park and St Luke's is decidedly different since they do not agree, as a matter of principle, with the construction of buildings in any of our parks. Any comments from St Luke's?
I wonder if whoever-it-was on the council who suggested the Norton Nurseries as a site for the new hospice has lost her/his seat? I certainly hope so since she/he is not fit to be called a trustee.

Whoever it was that came up with the hairbrained scheme to build in a public park should let us know. The electorate have a right to know.

I cannot understand why they are so reticent to come forward. If they thought it such a great idea they should want other to know about it.

Come on make the details public.

The Lib/Dems made their position perfectly clear last year when they were in opposition. It is pretty clear to anyone sensible that the idea of building the hospice in Graves Park is a non starter.
It all depends on how sensible the directors at St Lukes are. Do they intend to keep tipping donated funds down the drain?

Isn't about now that Cap'n Kirk should fall on his sword?

I think Paul Scriven's press release puts a lid firmly on this saga.

Well said Paul.
