OH dear me. Shock and horror, the BNP has won two seats in South Yorkshire.
And then, of course, we get the predictable response from one of the local MPs, Denis MacShane, that the votes for the BNP were regrettable and a vote for hate and division. Rubbish! Instead of bleating about the BNP, he should wake up and wake up hi
s Labour cronies to work out why the BNP got so many votes.
Maybe it's because of the complacency, incompetence and failure of Labour to control the flood of immigrants; the failure to deport foreign criminals and the fact that hundreds of foreign criminals and suspected terrorists have been released from prison and allowed back into society, the Government not knowing or caring where they have disappeared to.
Then, of course, there was the Labour election pledge in 1997 to be tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime. What a joke. But that's another story.
