A MEDICAL professor has challenged the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) ruling that a drug for cancer of the kidney was not to be prescribed as it just delayed death for a few weeks, in other words, uneconomical.
The professor challenged this statement and had the backing of 20 cancer experts who said this drug could be used for all forms of cancer.

Once again I am saying this is the Scottish dominated government which unashamedly grants a whole range of
medical and welfare benefits to Scotland which are denied to people in England. If people living in England had a dark complexion we would have a cast iron case for claiming racism.

Having had personal dealings with Leukaemia, Motor Neurone, Scleroderma and the most awful Alzheimer's, no price is too high to alleviate human suffering.
