So Coun Anginotti wants us to know that the Lib-Dems have a 'Buy Local' policy. What a pity they did not have this policy when they gave the contract for refuse disposal to a French company.
This resulted in staff reductions, therefore less money spent in the city, and the profit being taken in a foreign country.

Isnt there something within the EU regulations which insists that all local government contracts have to be advertised EU wide and that to operate a policy which can be demonstrated to be discriminatory is illegal?
