SPEED retarders all over our estate are ignored.
Those on Jenkin Avenue and Beacon Way might as well not be there. It's like Brands Hatch 24/7, not only cars but quad bikes and off-roaders speeding up and down.

Speed bumps are ignored by the lawless,they penalise those who dont break the law,im sick and tired of humps appearing everwhere.
I ought to send the bill for a new suspension for my car to the bloody council and let them pick up the tab,after all its their doing along with the residents isnt it?

How can the council be responsible for foolish, imature people speeding ?, and why should my council tax pay for your car repairs. Drive a little slower over the bumps.

We are plagued withpeople using our area as a rat run, and I for one would welcome more traffic calming measures. The government should get their act together and raise the minimum age for a full licence to 21, and introduce a tiered licencing system as they do for motorbikes.

Lets have harsher sentences for habitual speeders, and crush the vehicles of dangerous drivers.
