WE HAVE just received the news of another climatic disaster, incurring many thousands of deaths and widespread devastation. I have been beating the drum of impending climatic disaster over the years, but with greater intensity in recent times.
The increasing incidence of these unnatural disasters is, undoubtedly, making it difficult for the establishment to maintain its attitude of pristine innocence, and confirming the assessment of people like me who believe them to be related to our gro
ss abuse of the environment.

The irony is that it is the West which is largely producing the atmospheric pollution that is causing the meltdown but, it is the impoverished Eastern countries who are suffering the worst effects at the present time because they live in the most vulnerable areas. The despicable aspect of it is when people who are not directly affected show little, or no concern, but, their immunity will not last.

The campaign that I operate is called Integrity because we believe in directing attention to all the issues where human misery is inflicted.

Not to take action against a recognised danger is, by what could be called the moral equivalence principle, the same as being responsible for its causation.
Jack Everett, Castledale Grove, Sheffield S2
