NEARLY fell off my chair laughing when I read that the council wants to tackle the worst road bottlenecks.
Most roads have been narrowed, (and it is still being done), by extending the footpaths, painting out the middle of the road or making dual carriageways into single track, the latest at Totley.
Suddenly the clowns who did it are astounded the traffic is not moving. Did they think it would not cause congestion?
The roads in Sheffield are fast disappearing and becoming an endangered species.
