I WAS shocked to read that the governors of Wisewood/Myers still want merger to go ahead. I know most of the Wisewood governors don't want this!
Look at the facts: over 2,800 joined a petition agaist this, a Star vote showed 20pc wanted the merger but 80pc did not. Also parents and the community voted Labour out because of the merger. I would also add that at least four Wisewood teachers have left because of the merger!

I WONDER why the views of Wisewood School governors have suddenly become headline news.

Back in December, when the Wisewood governors came out against the merger plan, it went unreported.

The Council's Report on the Consultation, published in February, was 55 pages long but did not find space to mention what the Wisewood governors thought of the merger.
