I WAS interested to see local Labour MPs comment on the proposed closure of 16 Post Offices in Sheffield. This included Angela Smith MP who said she was very concerned about the potential closure of Deepcar and Loxley Post Offices.
I only wish she and the other local Labour MPs had shown the same concern when they could have voted against stopping the closure programme on March 19: Angela Smith, Clive Betts, Richard Caborn and Meg Munn all voted against stopping the programme. David Blunkett didn't vote.
