I WAS delighted to read your article on the oldest couple in Sheffield, as it was my auntie Phyliss and uncle Ralph Tarrant with whom I lost contact about 10 years ago.
My mother, Nancy Bingham, now deceased, was her lifelong friend when living next door to each other in Salisbury Road, Crookes. I thought they had passed away, so you can imagine my joy to have found them again.
I would very much like to see them again. My married name is Jane Duckenfield and perhaps they would phone me on 0114 2345224.
