I AM a resident of Hillsborough in my mid-fifties and have always lived here. The demise of Hillsborough started before Supertram.
At one time residents didn't need to go to town or Meadowhall, but Hillsborough now has too many hair salons, nail salons and estate agents.

The dress shops that there are only cater for youngsters.

Almost everybody you speak to says exactly the same.

My other point is the signs for the tram gates. If drivers can't see them they shouldn't be driving as they are big enough and there has been enough publicity over the years.

Cars are still turning left from Middlewood Road into Bradfield Road. This has been a no left turn for about 20 years. There is a crossing right on the corner and I have crossed there plenty of times when cars have come round the corner and people have been crossing.
