THANK you to the organisers, sponsors and everyone in attendance at the Fun Day in Hilsborough Park on August 6. The weather was kind and it was a good free day out.
However, on leaving, we queued at the Granelli's ice cream van outside the children's play area, only to witness a vendor returning to her van, dropping a cigarette tab on the floor outside the van and, on entering, commencing to serve ices without washing her hands in the facilities there.
Not a very good example.
