ON behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care thanks to everyone in Sheffield for their generous support of the Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal throughout March and April.
We held over 65 collections on the streets, at football grounds and in stores across South Yorkshire.

Success depends on people giving up their time to collect so on behalf of everyone at Marie Curie and the patients who are cared for by Marie Cu
rie Nurses, thank you to our volunteers and everyone who donated.

What do you think? Post your comment below.
The collections in South Yorkshire raised £14,000 for the local Marie Curie Nurses who provide free high quality nursing, to give local terminally ill people the choice of dying at home supported by their families.

This fantastic amount will mean that local Marie Curie Nurses will be able to provide 700 more nursing hours to people who are terminally ill.

If you would like more information about Marie Curie Cancer Care, visit www.mariecurie.org.uk or call Liz in the South Yorkshire Fundraising Office on 0114 279 3010.
