Cafe owner was thinking of customers

Having read the article (Aug 8, 'Cafe barred woman with guide dog') I felt I had to reply in defence of Dimitri Sorganes.
The emotive language and headlines used were extremely provocative and heavily slanted against Mr Sorganes.
He runs a small cafe where the food preparation area is immediately adjacent to the area where customers sit and I believe he was correct in asking Mrs Brown if, on this occasion, she minded sitting outside the cafe with her dog.
As I understand, it was a sunny day and the majority of customers were already sitting outside, at tables provided.
Mr Sorganes is a conscientious and hard-working owner and has a food preparation area second to none in cleanliness.
He is well aware of the law regarding disabled people and I believe that in a previous employent he had to advise his then employers that they had no choice but to admit David Blunkett with his guide dog. On that occasion the kitchen area was totally separate and there was no possibilty of food contamination.
On this occaison, Mr Sorganes was thinking of the well-being of all of his customers and I believe that even the Health and Safety executive would not pass comment on this situation without seeing the premises.
I understand that technically, this is a breach of the law, but I feel that a more balanced view could have been taken and a fairer and less biased article printed.
