STEELERS have won a two-season battle to sign a new import forward.
They have been after their man since Dave Matsos came to Sheffield three summers ago.

Now they have received a signed contract back from the 27-year-old team-player, who has limited AHL experience.

He is the total opposite to the man he is replacing Dan Tessier- grittier but less explosive, offensively.

Sheffield plan to announce his name tomorrow.
