STEELERS rounded off a succesful weekend tonight with a 6-2 hammering of Basingstoke Bison at Sheffield Arena.
It followed a 5-2 win at Hull Stingrays on Saturday.
Arena fans had the double bonus of watching three fights on home ice, the best involving Randy Dagenais, who stepped in after team-mate Jeff Legue had been attacked.
The game's defining moment came with a superb individual goal from Ashley Tait.
Nathan Gillies scooped a couple of assists but the import's first Elie League goal still eludes him.
Full report in Monday's Star.
